Since January 2022, Tim Deschryver has been on board with us and has quickly become an indispensable part of our team. As a front-end developer, Tim holds the title of Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in the Developer Technologies domain. At dotNET Lab, we are incredibly proud of our colleague because such recognitions are rare in this field. Tim is one of the twelve Belgian MVPs in that category, while across all specializations, our country has only 59 MVPs.

The nominations received are then subjected to a thorough review process by Microsoft. Tim successfully passed the procedure and has been honored as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional since last summer.
“I didn’t have to take an exam, but they did ask for my references and accomplishments. It wasn’t difficult, since I put 200% into the open-source community. After a positive evaluation, I received the title. I was very proud! However, it’s only valid for a year. I’m fortunate to be nominated again now. Until March, I was able to demonstrate my contributions through blogs, projects, etc. The screening period is ongoing, and soon I’ll know if I can call myself a Most Valuable Professional for the second consecutive year, under Microsoft’s approving eye.
